Our signature editing process ensures every image stands apart from standard photos or simple filters. We capture your image in RAW format via a fun and relaxed photoshoot experience, then uniquely process your images to create our magazine-like signature styles, and deliver a curated gallery, dedicating over 2 hours of editing to every hour of your photoshoot.

    Clients say a session with us is a must-have graduation experience, delivering a complete photographic experience with 60+ personalized edited images for around the same price as a single unedited digital image download from school photos. Fun, relaxed, and fully focused on you, no modeling experience is required. We create unforgettable memories that feel like a magazine cover.   • Not confident with posing? That’s completely fine. We design our sessions to be calm, relaxed, and stress-free. Before the shoot begins, we’ll guide you through a mini crash course with gentle, easy-to-follow poses so you feel comfortable and prepared.

    Throughout the session, we provide ongoing guidance, helping you move naturally and feel at ease in front of the camera. You won’t need to worry about striking the β€œperfect” poseβ€”we’ll work together at a pace that feels comfortable and relaxed.

    We also pay close attention to every detail, checking that hair, stoles, and other styling elements are perfectly in place, and gently reminding you throughout the shoot so every shot looks polished and effortless.

  • We understand that life happens and we offer rescheduling for sessions as long as we are notified in advance. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if an emergency occursβ€”we are always happy to support you.

    We always reschedule for rain to ensure your session goes perfectly. Cloudy days, however, create the most flattering light for portraits, so we do not reschedule for overcast days as they are ideal.

    Each shoot is thoughtfully designed to be a unique graduation experience focused on you, and professionally captured aligned to Lavender & Lemon’s signature studio style. We dedicate over two hours of editing for every hour of photoshoot time, starting immediately after your session. This allows us to deliver polished images quicklyβ€”often within three daysβ€”so you can send personalized graduation invitation cards (available for order through our studio) without the month-long delays common in the industry.

The Classic Package

Budget Friendly Option for a Few Classic Shots

    • 1 hour minimum to book, 1.5 hr+ suggested for visiting all major locations, 2 hr suggested for outfit changes. 30 min add-on sessions for a different date available if you previously booked a session.

    • This package delivers 10 high quality, edited images per person, per hour in our studio style, edited by lead photographers, in your preferred aesthetics. Additional edited photos may be purchased for $10 per image. Edits include distraction removal, lighting fixes, and simple retouches.

    • 3 locations max per hour, such as Doe Library, Campanile, and Sather Gate.

    • All edited images delivered within 7 days.

    • Most simple and affordable package for a few classic Berkeley graduation photos with the studio quality. Perfect for a social media post or a few printed images.

      *The Classic Package sessions are captured by our professionally trained and highly-talented associate photographers with professional equipment, then thoughtfully edited by the lead photographer to maintain our consistent studio style and quality.


      * All 40+ additional images are delivered unedited (JPG) as previews. These images are provided straight from camera and may appear darker or unfinished, as we intentionally preserve highlight and detail for professional post-processing. Only edited images reflect Lavender & Lemon Studio’s final quality and artistic standard.

    • Family and friends can join for any picture as long as they are not in grad attire.

They combine years of hands-on experience with formal photography education (via photography major or related coursework), mentorship, and bring a fresh, creative perspective to every session. Each shoot is thoughtfully designed and professionally captured to showcase Lavender & Lemon’s signature studio style. Clients who choose Associates enjoy a highly personalized, professional experience at approximately 20% below lead photographer pricing, receiving exceptional quality photography at an accessible, great-value rate.

Professional Lighting: We use various lighting equipment, including off-camera strobe flash, reflectors, diffusers, and other professional lighting setups to create flattering lighting conditions in every environment. Whether in bright sun or deep shade, we adjust for perfect skin tones, depth, and clarity.

    2. Enhanced Edits: We dedicate at least 15 minutes on each image, using every editing technique to ensure perfect lighting, color, and detail on very element of the image. On average, we spend 2 hours of premium editing for every hour of your photoshoot.

    3. Re-edits: We will work with you back and forth during the edit process to make sure our results match your intended style and look. You can send any sample images from my portfolio or online and we can recreate the aesthetic.

  • Skin Retouching & Professional Portrait Editing. Every image is carefully edited with advanced skin retouching techniques using specialized editing software, cinematic color tuning, and precision enhancements.

  • We photograph the images using the RAW image format, which retains maximum detail color information. We will deliver these images if you would like to edit yourself* or would like to store the original image files.

    * RAW images require dedicated editing software to process and cannot be directly viewed on most devices or platforms. Therefore, professional photographers do not deliver RAW unless upon request. Our images are delivered in highest quality JPG format. RAW images are unedited.

    *Alternatively, you can also request for all unedited jpgs for the same upgrade of $25.
